In Life Science this week, we dissected a starfish. We even sang a song about the parts of the starfish. We also watched a video on the grasshopper dissection to prepare for our next dissection. In World History, we finished a chapter on Egypt and started a new chapter on Africa Long Ago. We had a test on the American Colonies in the British Empire in American History. In Literature, we finished listening to a novel on a CD called “Troll Mountain”. The students then had to make a ten-question multiple choice test in Google Forms. First, they had to learn how to use Google Forms. We continue to work on Sentence Diagramming in English class. This week they learned about Prepositional Phrases. We enjoyed two days of Physical Education class in the former Public-School Gymnasium. We played Sprout Ball, Scatter Dodgeball, and Indoor Soccer. We also had some fun celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday.
