In Life Science this week, we read a chapter about Arthropods. We made diagrams of the crayfish and grasshopper. In World History, we finished learning about Modern Day Africa. In American History, we are learning about the Northwest Ordinance of 1785 & 1787, which dealt with land rights. We started making our own township maps with sections. In Literature, we finished our novel called “My Brother Sam Is Dead”. Next week, we will show our final projects on the book. In English class, students are writing an Adventure Story. The story has to be a minimum of five typed pages. After we complete the story, students will then create a website to go along with their story. This will be created in Google Sites. We enjoyed four days of Physical Education class in our rented gymnasium. One day we spent the whole afternoon there. This was their PE Reward from the Beanie Selections. We are 75% of the way done with our Math curriculum. The Third Quarter ends next week on March 20th. If school would close, check FastDirect & the Google Classroom for assignments and for teacher-student communications.
