In American History, students have been working on their next project on Chapter 3. Presentations will begin on Tuesday, November 5th. Students in World History are finishing up a chapter on the “Middle East Today”. We did two labs this week in Life Science. One lab involved taking samples of bacteria from objects in the school and placing them in cultured petri dishes. The other lab involved creating bacteria with a bouillon cube. Students ended the week in science with a test. Students finished reading a book of their choice in literature. Then students had to write a book report in Google Docs as a test. We listened and recorded nouns (places & things) in an episode of Gilligan’s Island in English class. We finished playing Ultimate Frisbee in PE class. Our Chapel Offerings are going to “Mon Ami, Jesus” (My Friend, Jesus). Please try to remember to bring an offering on Wednesdays. We have given 54 books to the children in Africa & Haiti. The goal is 100 books by January. The First Quarter concluded on Friday. First Quarter Report Cards will be sent home with your child on Friday, November 8th.
