Praise the Lord! It was so nice to have students in a classroom excited to learn and communicate with one another. Pastor led our Opening Chapel service on Tuesday. He talked about the theme for this school year (Sent to Serve). Students are learning about astronomy in Life Science. We made astrolabes, which are instruments used to measure the angles of heavenly bodies. We also learned about some of the early astronomers. In American History, we worked on a Civics activity book and talked about proper etiquette with the American Flag. We started talking about the Civil War too. We are reviewing a lot of concepts in the Saxon Math series. Students had their first Spelling test of the new year on Thursday. We are playing Lacrosse in Physical Education class. We talked about Complete Sentences and Fragments in English class. They are working on a Creative Space Fantasy story on Google Docs/Slides. Be safe and wear a mask. Let’s keep the spread of Covid-19 from happening in our school.
