It was nice to have students in the classroom this week. I really missed the interactions with them. This week in school, we did a bunch of activities in Life Science. We did an experiment on Impact Craters, the Moon’s Gravity, and the Phases of the Moon. In American History, we are presenting our History Projects. Mr. Brand barely made the time commitment (too long). We continue to work on our Sentence Diagramming in English class. We finally had a spelling test in person; first time since November. We are just about halfway through our Saxon Math books. We played hockey outside for Physical Education class. We celebrated Edward Elijah Perkins’ birthday on Friday. He was the creator of Kool-Aid. I handed out a Kool Aid box to all of the students. Be safe and wear a mask.

Remember to check FastDirect weekly to see how your child is doing. The schedule of assignments due for the upcoming week is also listed under each subject (typically I do it by Sunday night). The date in FastDirect is the day it was assigned. It is typically due one or two days later. Remember you can correct papers that are a C or below.
May the Lord continue to shower your homes with His love and grace! Be safe and wear a mask! We are in the season of Advent preparing for the coming of Jesus. Praise Our Savior, Jesus!
