Tuition & Fees 2020-2021
All families will receive one tuition envelope per student at the beginning of the school year. Tuition payments may be sent to school in the tuition envelope; the envelope will be returned to you for use the following month. You may cover multiple tuition’s with one check. The tuition envelope serves as your receipt if you are planning to claim tax deductions on your state income tax. All tuition payments are due no later than the 15th of each month. If your payment will be late, please notify the school office. Please be aware that it costs St. Johns Church more than $5,000.00 per year to educate each child that attends the school. For that reason, we strongly urge you to make every effort to keep your tuition payments current. If you feel that you will have difficulty handling the total tuition amount for the year, we urge you to apply for tuition assistance by completing a tuition assistance form and returning it to school. These forms are
available from the school office.

Policies
St. Johns Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, or sex to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, or sex in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
In all cases of enrollment, it is to be understood that no child will be excused from religious instruction, nor will the instruction be changed or altered to accommodate a child’s different belief. St. Johns is a Lutheran school and teaches Lutheran doctrine. Non-member students will not be required to be confirmed in the Lutheran faith, nor will they be expected to join the Lutheran church. We encourage non-member Christian students and families to stay active in their own church. If a child or family desires to convert to Lutheranism, that is their personal choice.
