This program is designed to help students continue their education this summer—keeping them sharp and offering a boost in areas they might need help. Students can attend full-time, attend a few weeks here or there, or even just attend half-days. Build a plan for your needs. There is also optional childcare before and after the classes.
Who Can Attend?
The program is open to any student entering K-8 this fall from any school or district. You don’t have to be a St. Johns’ student to participate!
When
Courses will run several weeks, starting in June, and concluding in mid-August. There will be a short span in mid-July with no sessions offered. Students can attend the duration of the summer, or choose only the weeks desired. They can also choose to attend full or half days with pricing based on their selection.
Weeks Offered:
June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28
July 22-26, July 29-August 2, August 5-9
Daily Schedule
The days will be broken into morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session will focus on core academics, including math, language arts, reading and social studies. It will also include a brief, daily Bible study. Afternoons will still embrace learning, but be leisurely and fun; they will include things such as art, crafts, cooking, movies, games and sports.
7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. — Optional Eagle Care
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m — Morning Academic Session
12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. — Lunch and Afternoon Recreation Session
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. — Optional Eagle Care
Cost
The days will be broken into morning and afternoon sessions. This allows families to attend mornings, afternoons or both with fees are based on selection.
Each session is priced at $150 per week per student ($300 per week for full days).
All fees must be paid in advance.
Add-On Eagle Care – Child Care
If a family needs before or after-program care, they can choose an Eagle Care plan.
Morning Care: Runs 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. and is $4/day or $20 per week.
After Class Care: Runs 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and is $4.00 per child per hour.
Late pick-up fees are $4.00 per minute per child.
All fees must be paid in advance with the exception of After Class Care, which will be billed weekly with payments due within 14 days.
